We first participated in HAI's "Love, Intimacy and Sexuality" workshops in 1993 through a series of serendipitous events that changed both our lives.

Ben saw a short blurb written by someone who’d attended a workshop. Neither of us had done any personal growth work, but it sparked an interest. At the very least, it sounded like a great way to spend a weekend. That was nearly a decade ago and we’ve been involved ever since in one form or another. At first, we soaked up all that we could as participants. As time passed we wanted to give something back, so we became part of the Team that supports the workshops. In 1996, we stepped in to the role of Producer when there was a need. What we know is that loving is a constant growth process. When we stop practicing on a daily basis loving ourselves and others, that “love muscle” atrophies. Producing—and attending!—the workshops keep us alive and vibrant!
