The Human Awareness Institute weekend workshops in Northern California are held at Harbin Hot Springs resort in Middletown, CA, just outside of Calistoga. Harbin is part of beautiful Lake County adjacent to California's famous wine country. It is approximately a two hour drive from San Francisco, close enough to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing.

Harbin is located on over 1600 acres of private, undeveloped woodland. Large soaking pools and sprawling redwood sundecks welcome sunning, soaking or swimming.

Our workshops are conducted at the private Harbin conference center including 2 additional soaking pools, catered meals, an air conditioned workshop room, cozy wood burning stoves, convenient parking, redwood decks, a nearby stream, hiking trails and camp-style accommodations.

Private rooms are available if reserved separately with Harbin however there is an additional charge. You may also take advantage of the massage, Watsu, yoga and other Harbin offerings before and after the workshop weekend.
