The Spiritual and Energetic home for HAI in Australia is "Birrigai". This icon is located on the southern side of the nation's capital, Canberra, and is a students camp operated by the Department of Sport and Recreation. Birrigai nestles in a beautiful, isolated, outback setting. . . a place of solitude and learning, and only a short flight from four major capital cities. Although Love, Intimacy and Sexuality workshops may be held at other locations including San Remo near Sydney, many of us feel that Birrigai is HAI's home in Australia.
A weekend workshop at Birrigai is usually highlighted by sightings and interactions with many species of natural fauna, particularly kangaroos, emus and goannas. Accommodation is in good quality facilities, bunk and single beds, 4-10 per room with large and modern bathroom facilities.
Visitors to Australia will experience our unique and warm culture. Down to earth, yet practical and pragmatic, Australians are renowned for our staunch bonding and supportive nature. We will traditionally go the extra mile to help out a "mate" in trouble. Interestingly, if you travel to our outback you can still find traditional connections to our English ancestry: the cup of tea (cuppa) and scones with jam and cream served in the numerous bed and breakfast homes throughout the country.
