About Hai-intimacy

HAI-intimacy is a place to share who you are, your experiences and how you feel about them. We encourage you to share about how someone else's share personally impacts you. This is also a place for members to share feedback with each other about developing intimacy skills. This list isn't a place to make non-personal announcements, third party material, share jokes, chain letters, petitions or anything which does not include a personal comment that reveals part of yourself. This list isn't a place for members to promote products, services, politics etc. THIS IS IMPORTANT: When sending a message to the list, send it only to the list. Put the list address (hai-intimacy@hai.org) in the To: field. DON'T PUT ANYTHING IN THE Cc: or Bcc: FIELD. MODERATED: All messages on a moderated list are checked before posting by the moderator to make sure they meet the list guidelines. The message is then posted as soon as possible. If the message needs editing to meet the guidelines, the moderator will contact the sender. WHO MAY JOIN: The criterion for membership is to have done a Level 1 of the HAI SLI workshops. Only subscribed members may post to the list. SECURITY: No email is secure; more like a postcard which can be read, but usually isn't. Within the context of the list, members are asked not to share anything published on the list with anyone who is not a member. Your email address won't be used for anything other than to receive messages from this list. To minimize spam, keep the address of the list (hai-intimacy@hai.org) confidential. If spam is sent to the list, the moderator has to deal with it. WHO'S IN CHARGE: The List Manager, moderates and maintains this list. The HAI Internet Team sets the general policies of the regional mailing lists, but as much as possible, delegates this authority to the List Manager. If you have any questions or suggestions about the usage or operation of this list, please forward them to the List Manager. PLEASE PARTICIPATE: If you don't tell people you are on the list, they won't know. We want to hear from you, even if simply to say hello and let the members know you've joined. We invite you to post a message as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.

Using Hai-intimacy

To post a message to all the list members, send email to hai-intimacy@hai.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Hai-intimacy

Subscribe to Hai-intimacy by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
